Configure X
X Direct Channel and X Mention Channel
The channel to be created must initially be identified.
Add the parameters of the application created on X; OAuth 2.0 parameters must be added, which are a pair of CLIENT ID and CLIENT SECRET, in addition to the Timeout.
Client Permission Approval
Once "check" is pressed on the previous screen, a new page is displayed with a X web page authorizing the client to grant permissions for the X application to send and receive messages. This URL can be copied and sent to our client for permission approval. It's important to note that, until authorization is granted, the window in Lynn, where the channel is being created, will remain locked until permissions are granted.
Once the permissions are granted, a page will appear indicating that the process was successfully completed, as shown below. In case of error, another window will appear indicating the problem.
Saving Channel Data
After the client approves the permission transfer, the channel configuration window unlocks and allows:
- Configuring the current channel.
- Configuring the current channel and the other channel in the case of direct; it can also configure the mention channel and, if mentions are being configured, the direct channel will be configured with the same configuration attributes.
- Cancel this operation, in which case nothing is done.
Creating Direct and Mention Channels at Once
By selecting the option, the channel is created, informing in a window of the process completion.
Saving the Direct Channel and the Comment Channel
When creating a channel, the two channels can be created at the same time using the same process. The option “Run Direct and Mentions to the same account” must be selected, and then click the create button.
Then the window that confirms the creation of these channels is presented.
In the view, the two channels are presented.
Deleting the X Channel
Right-click on the channel and select the delete button.
Embedding
Right-click on the channel and select the Embed button.
A screen is immediately displayed, from where you can copy and paste a code to place on your webpage. Or, if you prefer, press the X, and it will take you to the account's configured X.
